Charlie Daugherty serves as general counsel of Corinthian Development Company, where he oversees all legal matters and corporate governance issues.
Mr. Daugherty brings a wealth of corporate legal and commercial real estate experience to Corinthian, having served in senior positions for a number of firms over the course of more than thirty years. While in private practice from 2000 through 2013, Mr. Daugherty served as general counsel, director and/or chief executive officer for several companies, including Pearce Services, Inc., Stockdale Communications, Inc. and Showorks, Inc.
Previously, Mr. Daugherty was senior vice president and general counsel for Sony Development, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America, from 1995 to 2000. Prior to joining Sony Development, he served as vice president of contracts with Disney Imagineering from 1989 to 1994 and as director of contracts for Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Refinery Modernization Project, from 1983 through 1989, during which he was the senior executive in the firm’s London office from 1987 to 1989. Mr. Daugherty began his legal career as a contracts attorney with Harbert, Howard and Berger, during which he worked on the historic Camp David Peace Accords in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Mr. Daugherty earned a bachelor’s degree from Simpson College, Iowa and a juris doctorate from University of La Verne. He is a member of the California State Bar Association.
